This is Karen Hedin Crockett’s sister in law. I am very sorry to tell you that Karen passed away yesterday (note: would be 12/22/2020). She went to sleep the night before and passed peacefully in her sleep. Although she has had a great deal of medical problems, It was very much a shock to us. She was so happy to reconnect with you, so I hope you can take some comfort in that. It’s a little early yet, but my brother Bob thinks they likely will only be able to do a video streaming memorial service. If you like, I can notify you when it has been arranged. They had planned on cremation. At a later date, he will take her ashes to the Crockett family plot in south Texas.
