Pauline Lucille Kauffman

95, of West Lafayette, passed away at 6:45 p.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at her residence.

Born January 17, 1922 in Worthington, IN, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Dora V. (Sutton) Orman and a 1940 graduate of West Lafayette High School.

Her marriage was to Charles Clifford Kauffman on March 29, 1941 in Lafayette.  He preceded her in death on August 9, 2004.

Pauline was a homemaker, raising her four children.  She had also worked at FFR Research for 11 years.

She was a member of Battle Ground United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Jefferson County Conservation Club.

She is survived by her four children, Ronald Kauffman (wife: Judith) of Angola, IN, James Kauffman of Delphi, Vicki Shoup of West Lafayette, and Rebbecca Worthington (husband: Ronald) of Lafayette; 12 grandchildren; and 32 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren

Preceding her in death with her parents and husband is a sister; Vonna Williams, and brother; Herchal Orman.  

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday,  January 29, 2017 at Hippensteel Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 10 a.m., Monday , January 30th, 2017, with Bishop Scott Russell officiating.  Interment to follow in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.  Memorial contributions may be made to Battle Ground United Methodist Church and condolences online .
