Earl Mitchell

 

Earl P. Mitchell, 77, of Lafayette died Thursday, June 4, 2015 at his home. He was born May 19, 1938, in Louisville, KY, to the late John and Elizabeth Hollis Mitchell.

Earl graduated from West Lafayette High School and attended Purdue University. He was married to his loving wife Beverlie for 59 years and she survives. Earl was a Supervisor at Oscar Winski Company, which he was very devoted to for 44 years, before retiring. He was member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church, Attica Eagles #2596 serving in different offices and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving along with his wife are his daughters, Cindy Mitchell of Hillsboro, Roxanne Lyman (Tim) of Brookston, 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 2 stepgranddaughters. Earl was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Cheryl Lanum, Annette Mitchell, brothers, Reed and Carroll Mitchell.
