Dinah Martin

Dinah Gwen Martin , 1950 - 2015

Loving mom, caring sister, and sweet friend, Dinah Martin, passed away in the early morning of January 26th, 2015.

She was born on November 14th, 1950, the first child of Joe & Alice Ann (Bahls) Martin. Within 6 years, she became the special sister to three brothers, Andy, Mike, and Chris. Through all her years of life, her very important place in their lives and hearts endured. 

Dinah dedicated her life to being fully present and caring for others. In her constant discovery of new channels for her artistic expression, she was passionate. She nearly always had a creature, or 2, entrusted to her unlimited care and affection. As a nurse, Dinah came alongside hundreds of people with enormous patience and skill. 

Dinah provided effervescent hope to everyone around her. With a broad smile and gentle touch, she loved her son, Nathaniel, from birth into adulthood. She never grew out of trying to nurture and support her brothers. She openly appreciated special companionship with her sisters-by-marriage, Susanrae and Sheila. Dinah lived hope-filled commitment to standing by her friends. 

Dinah Martin kept at her life, determinedly, even into her final days of life here. Now, common memories of her will be threaded between many lives forever, to her delight.
