Mary Kay Tudor Chalfant, 65

Mary Kay Tudor Chalfant, 65, of Chesterfield, passed on to join Christ in heaven Saturday, November 8, 2014 while at home. Mary endured living with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) for two years.

Known to many as a dear friend, Mary was the beloved wife of Ronald Chalfant. Loving mother of Michelle (Jeff) Nixon, Jon (Shaun McCarthy) Chalfant and Julia Chalfant. Cherished grandmother of Ellen and Gwen Nixon. Dear daughter of Ethel May Tudor. Sister of Judy, Tom, Jim and Bob Tudor and the late John and Bill Tudor. Mary's compassion, friendliness and warm spirit will be terribly missed by all who knew her.

Mary was born and raised in West Lafayette, IN, graduated from West Lafayette High School (1967) and Purdue University (1972).

Services: Visitation Thursday from 4-8pm Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with funeral service Friday 10:30 am Lafayette Chapel.Officiating will be Rev. Dr. TJ Jenney PHD.Burial will be in Montmorenci Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Mary's name to the St. Louis Regional Chapter of the ALS Association (webstl.alsa.org). There is also a "Mary Chalfant Donation Account" accessible at U.S. Bank locations in the St. Louis area.
